Attention Deficit Disorder (version 2)

ADD, oh ADD, the wandering mind's affliction,
A challenge to focus, a constant friction.
A brain that races, like a wild stallion's run,
An endless stream of thoughts, never quite done.

Distractions abound, like a buzzing bee,
Drawing attention away, from tasks to be.
A moment of clarity, then it's lost in a flash,
A frustrating cycle, like a never-ending bash.

To the world, it may seem like laziness or disinterest,
But inside, it's a constant battle, a relentless conquest.
The struggle to stay on track, to finish what's begun,
To tame the mind, and silence the constant hum.

Yet, amidst the chaos, there's a creativity that flows,
A unique perspective, that only ADD knows.
An ability to think outside the box, to see things anew,
To explore uncharted territory, and break through.

So, to all those with ADD, embrace your wandering mind,
For in it lies a treasure, that others may never find.
With patience, perseverance, and a willingness to adapt,
You can overcome the challenges, and find your own path.
