ADHD: A mind of distractions

Read Time:1 Minute, 9 Second
In the mind of those with ADHD,
A whirlwind of thoughts is all they see.
A constant stream, a rushing flow,
That never seems to ebb or slow.

The world is full of distractions,
Each one vying for their attention.
A squirrel scurrying up a tree,
A car honking down the street.

Focus is elusive, hard to find,
And sitting still is quite a grind.
A constant fidget, a tapping foot,
Their restless energy cannot be put.

It's hard for them to follow rules,
Their impulsivity can be cruel.
They speak without thinking,
Interrupting others, without blinking.

The world sees them as scatterbrained,
And often they're misunderstood and blamed.
But they have gifts that are unique,
A boundless creativity, a quick critique.

Their minds can make connections others miss,
They can see patterns and solve problems with ease.
They're always seeking out something new,
An adventure, a challenge, something to do.

They may struggle with organization,
And forgetfulness is their frustration.
But they have a heart full of love,
And a passion that's hard to shove.

With patience, understanding, and support,
Their potential can soar and not fall short.
They may stumble, and they may fall,
But with resilience, they can conquer all.

So let's embrace those with ADHD,
And see the gifts that they can be.
For in the chaos of their mind,
A world of possibility we may find.
